At the southern tip of Gujarat, adjoining Maharashtra
is the tiny enclave of Daman which was a Portuguese colony until 1961.
The Damanganga River divides this land into two distinct parts – Nani
Daman (Little Damn) which is dotted with hotels and bars, and Moti Daman
(Big Daman), the Old Portuguese Township. The land is filled with historical monuments, parks, gardens, beaches and many more sites to choose from.
